Tampa Bay Late Pick 5 Pays $8,206.25

The carried-over Late Pick 5 was hit by multiple winning tickets at Tampa Bay Downs on Sunday.

It paid $8,206.25 for the minimum 50 cent bet.

The  winning horses in the five-race sequence were:

6th race -- Truxton Park (7) 5-1
7th race -- Dynatail (2)  7-5
8th race -- Little Cherie (4) 11-1
9th race -- Five Each Way (3) 5-1
10th race -- Doogle  Hopper  3-5

Bettors wagered $352,409 on the Late Pick 5 on Sunday.

That was added to the carryover of  $76,716,  creating a pool of $429,125.  There was a carryover because on Saturday there were no tickets with the winners of all five races.

Tampa Bay will not have  a Late Pick 5 carryover when it resumes racing on Wednesday, with first post of  12:25 p.m.
