Hal's Hope is Next

The Hal's Hope (Grade 3) is coming up as the 1th race at Gulfstream.

It is a one-turn dirt mile for 4-year-old and up.

Tommy Macho, trained by Todd Pletcher, and Mr. Jordan, trained by Eddie Plesa Jr., are likely favorites.

Mr. Jordan has learned to rate off the pace, and will be ridden by Joe Bravo.

There is a nine-horse field, and a $7,606 carryover in the Super Hi-5.  Good luck.

*Flatlined beat Almanear in a photo finish to win the tenth race -- the $200,000 Fort Lauderdale (Grade 2) at 1 1/16 miles on turf for 4-YOs and up.

On Sunday, our Web site will have details  of  all three of today's graded stakes at Gulfstream
