Chance of Luck Had More than Luck in the Inaugural

Gerald S. Bennett won big today in the first stakes race with his horse Chance of Luck taking charge from three wide on the turn for a neck finish of 1:10.84, and his other horse Triumphant Joy finishing third.

A race where Obvious One was initially the favorite entering undefeated Chance of Luck held up to its name in an amazing, gamely victory for the 2-year old maiden.   Don't Come Knockin certainly didn't make it easy for Bennett's 7 horse chasing him inside into the lane.  Bennett's horses both put up a strong fight, Triumphant Joy finished third 2 1/2 lengths behind Angel Rodriguez's 2 horse: Don't Come Knockin.
