Maid on a Mission held off a late surge by Little Alexandra to win by a nose in Saturday's feature race at Gulfstream.
Maid on a Mission ran one mile on the firm turf course in 1:37.21. It was an allowance/optional claimer for fillies and mares three-years-old and up.
Maid On a Mission was 3-1 and Little Alexandra was 27-1 in the ten-horse field. The $2 exacta paid $202.40.
Emisael Jaramillo rode Maid On a Mission for trainer Peter Walder. Luca Panici rode Little Alexandra for trainer Carlo Vaccarezza.
