Fans who are at or otherwise following Gulfstream have no doubt noticed that Tyler Gaffalione, the summer meet's leading rider, does not have any mounts on the Saturday card.
Instead, Gaffalione is at Arlington Park in Arlington Heights, Ill., where he has four mounts.
Two are in stakes races for 2-year-olds.
In the Arlington-Washington Lassie, Gaffalione is riding Royalty Princess for trainer Wayne Catalano.
In the Arlington-Washington Futurity, he is riding Star Empire for trainer Wesley Ward.a
Gaffalione will be back at Gulfstream on Sunday, with mounts in ten of the eleven races.
