The carryovers are over, at least for now, in the Super Hi-5 at Gulfstream.
The bet was hit in the first race, paying $2,087.80 on a $1 wager. El Rustico, at 3-1, won the race. Horses at single digit odds also finished second through fifth..
There was a carryover of $5,237.30 going in because on Monday, the most recent race day, there were no Super Hi-5 tickets with the first five finishers in correct order. There are no consolation payoffs on the bet.
As expected with an overnight carryover, betting on the Super Hi-5 was large $31,804.
The Super Hi-5 also was hit in the second and third races.
