Gulfstream's ninth and feature race (scheduled post 5:30) is the $75,000 Forty Niner Stakes at 1 1/16 miles on turf.
The field is down to nine horses after the morning scratch of Telling Tony, who would have been one of the favorites.
Tizzarunner, making his turf debut, also is a first-time gelding.
