Gulfstream Park will have a Rainbow
6 carryover of $72,274.93 on Saturday.
First post for the 11-race card is
1:15 p.m. The Rainbow 6 will be on races six through eleven. It is a 20-cent only per combination bet with
multiple horses allowed in each leg.
The carryover is growing because
Friday was the 11th consecutive racing day without the jackpot/carryover
payoff requirement of having just one ticket with the winners of all six
Rainbow 6 races.
On Friday there were two tickets
with all six winners, and each received $12,952.70.
The carryover coming into Friday was
$61,173. Bettors wagered $46,273 on the Rainbow 6.
Of that, Gulfstream took out its
standard 20 percent, divided 56 percent between the two winning tickets and
added 24 percent to the carryover.
