Be Mind Phil at 9:5 held off Likeuasafriend (5:1) and Dontstoptheparty (9:2) as the latter surged in the last few yards to get the place position.

The race was a $12,500 claimer at 6-1/2 furlongs.

Samy Comacho was the winning jockey, and a first under this mount for trainer Margaret Wetherington. The winning time was 1:17.54

Likeuasafriend crossed in third place, the first in-the-money showing for this horse since early December at Tampa Bay, when it won that 6-1/2 furlong race in 1:18.4, also in a 7 horse field.
