Park’s 12-race Sunday card is getting underway with first post of 12:35 p.m.
There
is a carryover of $1,531,106 on the Rainbow 6, starting with the seventh race
which has a scheduled post of 3:28 p.m.
Gulfstream’s
$1.5 Million Rainbow 6 is Coming Up
The main track is listed as fast and the turf course is listed
as firm.
Four of the Rainbow 6 races are scheduled for turf. There is little chance of rain. So it appears
safe to handicap as if there will be no surface changes.
Following morning scratches, there are 62 runners set for the
Rainbow 6 races.
The feature 11th race is the $65,000 Margate Handicap
at 6 ½ furlongs on dirt for 3-year-old fillies.
It is down to seven entrants, following the morning scratch of
April Gaze.
So, it might be a race to look for a single, or maybe two
horses.
