Morning Fire (4-1) fought off Epic Journey to win the Pasco Stakes for 3-year-old males at Tampa Bay.
Morning Glory ran the seven furlongs in 1:24.76.
The ninth race, at 4:20, is the third stakes of the day in oldsmar. It is the Wayward Lass at 1/16 miles for fillies and mares 4-years-old and up.
