Pete brought his excitement and accuracy to the booth, and his familiar "runners away" call at the start of the last race.
Pete has taken the job in Hot Springs, Ark., after spending the last five winters as track announcer for Hialeah Park's quarter horse races.
He will be back in South Florida for the Gulfstream Park spring and summer meets and later the Gulfstream Park West meet at Calder.
Once again, congratulations Pete.
