Tampa Bay Downs will have nine races this afternoon with first post time of 12:28 p.m.
A pair of allowance races, both with $23,000 purses, head the card, as the seventh and eighth races.
The seventh is 1 1/16 miles on turf for 3-year-olds and up. The eighth is a $10,000 optional claimer at 6 ½ furlongs on dirt for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.
We will have previews early this afternoon.
It will be the third day of the 2015-2016 meet at Tampa Bay Downs.
Like the first two days, Saturday and Wednesday, there will be large fields that provide some fun challenges for handicappers.
There are 96 entrants today. The past performances show that those horses ran their last races at a total of 21 different tracks.
On Saturday, the ten races had 103 starters. On Wednesday, the nine races had 82 starters.
