Speed held up again, barely, in the eighth at Tampa Bay, One Lucky Step held off a late charge by Euro Exchange to win by a nose in the 5 1/2 furlong on dirt MSW For 3-year-olds and up.
The winning time was a fast 1:03.47. The trainer/jockey combos were Gerald Bennett and Daniel Centeno for the winner and Michael Dini and Victor Lebron for the runner-up.
The nightcap ninth is a $25,000 claiming race at one mile on turf for 3-YOs and up.
